GLD has done and still (changing of seasonal plants and flowers) an absolute fantastic job in both our front and back yard. The attention to detail is awesome. My wife wanted a WOW yard and GLD went above and beyond. We get compliments all the time thanks to them. The customer service and follow up are wonderful. They may not be the most least expensive but it is worth every penny. You want the best landscape design available call Ed.

When I contacted Ed I really didn't know what I wanted to do, except that I wasn't happy with my landscaping and I wanted something different. My only criteria were that it has to be easy to maintain and look good. Ed was able to determine, through numerous conversations with me, what I really wanted and came up with a design that greatly exceeded my expectations. Not only is Ed good at translating your likes and dislikes into a beautiful landscape, but he is also very professional and treats your project as his own. He was onsite throughout the entire project, even for the elements that he outsourced to another company. He made sure that every detail was just right. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and now my family spends many hours sitting outside enjoying our new backyard. I will definitely call Ed first for any future landscaping projects.

Stone Walls, Landscape and Lighting
You are amazing! Your design and execution of our new look is beyond our grandest dreams. You made our 15 year old builder-provided yard (very blah) into a showcase. All other homes, including some with professional re-designs in the neighborhood, are merely the same old tired bunch of overgrown evergreens, azaleas, and crepe myrtles. All cookie cutter design!
You listened to our desires and concerns. We did not want formal spirals and tightly trimmed formality, yet did not want to be too informal for the Atlanta area. Your ideas are fantastic. Now we are proud of our yard. Your ideas for the short wall to change the lawn elevation and the subtle but dramatic lighting, as well as well as plants that are unique, properly sized, and healthy, sets us apart from the run of the mill home, without being over the top. After the installation, you monitored my maintenance of the yard, and continue to provide suggestions for continued success.

Excellent experience
Georgian Landscape Design recently finished landscape upgrades for our townhome community. Everyone loves the outcome- we are so pleased with the work! "BEST IN TOWN"
We’ve heard this phrase regarding restaurants around Atlanta but we suggest it also applies to the landscape design services from Ed at Georgian Landscape. The first thing we noticed is that Ed is passionate about designing landscapes. He obviously spent a lot of time coming up with out-of-the-ordinary designs using plants and trees that I had never heard of. Until working with Ed, I never realized how institutional all the yards in the neighborhood look with the standard builder landscaping! He sent us several emails with designs superimposed directly onto our yards using digital pictures he had taken of our property. This made it really easy to visualize how the final design would look and we were able to make changes on the fly before work began. The final result was exactly what we planned in the online designs and it was installed promptly as promised. I am an engineer by trade and I was very impressed by this whole process. I cannot imagine a better outcome.

Excellent work
Ed and his team have just completed a project at our house in Cumming and we are very pleased indeed. The work was completed on the date promised and met all of our expectations. Ed brought high quality trees, shrubs and plants and was present throughout the day, personally supervising the job and actively participating in the work involved. I know that Ed's company typically works on larger projects than ours, but he demonstrated a strong personal commitment and involvement from start to finish. My wife & I are very pleased with the results and would recommend Georgian Landscape Design to anybody looking for quality advice and workmanship, personal commitment and service. Great experience
One of the best experiences I have ever had with any service professional. Ed was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He turned up on time every time and completed the job under budget and when he said he would. The results exceeded my expectations and I am absolutely delighted with the whole experience. Beautiful and Unique job
Ed did a really fantastic and professional job. My front was so much improved in its appeal and beauty. He added a unique look to my home. He showed up on time, as planned each day, and did the work to the level I expected.. Now I do not know many contractors who do that. His prices were very fair too. I highly recommend GLD for any job you want done, He is doing a hardscape for my backyard now, that I know will be beautiful. Also, Ed is really funny and a joy to work with also. Just an added bonus!

Hardscape project with great attention to detail
The team that worked on my back yard hardscape project was very meticulous and paid great attention to detail. I had some problems left over from a previous job done some years ago by another vendor that had resulted in soil erosion and unsightly steps between two terraces. GLD completely restyled the stairs, added a third terrace and covered the eroded areas with soil and mulch. The placement of stones was precise and clean, resulting in a very attractive end result. Due to the drought, I wasn't ready to do landscaping but GLD nicely redefined my bedding areas and added fresh mulch so that future plantings can be placed easily. They also put down a nice stone floor for a shelter area that I am going to make into a potting shed, place to store my grill and most important of all - a place for the dog house that my two dogs sometimes use as a shelter when it rains. It was great work all around and I plan to use them on future additions and embellishments.

We are very pleased with the landscaping of an area of our yard where we had severe erosion. Ed filled in the area with river rock and planted mondo.
This whole area now looks very attractive. We highly recommend this company.

Rave Reviews for GLD
We hired Ed for a major project that included earthmoving, a flatbed full of plants, a large stone wall, a sprinkler system, and lighting.
Like any project, our original idea evolved over time as we disvocered more possibilities. Ed was completely willing to spend the additional time discussing our options, answering our never-ending questions, and heading back to the drawing board to incorporate our ideas - as well as using his expertise to guide us in the right direction.
In the end, I have to say that the breath of Ed's knowledge and skill is amazing. And when he brought in specialists, they were top notch as well. More than reviewing him, I fully endorse Ed and would happily be a reference for him. Please feel free to ask Ed to see the before/after pictures of the Stivers house. I think what makes Georgian Landscape Design stand out is that the owner, Ed Szczesniak, makes it a point of being there through every step of the project. He listens to you about what you want your yard to look like and is very respectful of your budget. My husband and I loved how he sent colored pictures of how our yard would look when he got finished.
When we started our project, Ed was there right on time and was on site working or supervising. The plants and the sod were high quality and Ed made sure we were aware of how to establish and maintain our plants.
It was the hardscape that was really outstanding. The stonework is beautiful and was meticulously done.
